HP PLAY READING CLUB
ATTENTION ALL WRITERS AND SCRIPT ENTHUSIASTS!
The Hartwell Players are proud to be hosting a group devoted to the appreciation of script writing. If you are a writer wanting some inspiration or a theatre devotee wanting to meet with like-minded creatives to read and deconstruct famous plays, then this might just be the group for you!
Our aim is to provide a platform for which you can soundboard your own ideas and discuss dramaturgical practices of renowned playwrights in a safe and social environment. No pressure, no judgement and no charge!
Every month a play will be read by the group (similar to a bookclub) and on the evening of the first Tuesday of the month we meet to read, analyse and draw inspiration for our own works. And if you don’t get a chance to read the month’s play don’t panic, we will read it on the night too
Check out our complete reading list below and keep an eye out for our meet-up events on The Hartwell Players Facebook page. Tell your friends about us!
If you have any other inquiries please contact Chris O’Neill at firstname.lastname@example.org.
